The University has a vast number of scholarships, prizes and awards to recognise the outstanding achievements of our students. Some of these are university-wide, while others are specific to a faculty or discipline. As well as recognition of success, many of our scholarships offer opportunities for you to come and study with us. These range from the highly-competitive National Scholarships, to the widely-acclaimed Access Melbourne scholarships which combine special entry and a scholarship scheme.

Melbourne University Sport provides student-athletes with a range of scholarships and grants each year. The Sport Scholarship program offers financial and/or in-kind support to both new and continuing student-athletes with the aim of assisting these students to reach their sporting potential whilst studying at the University of Melbourne.

How to Apply
Scholarship applications are usually due by the 31st March unless specified otherwise. New scholarship award holders are usually notified by late April.
